Editor: TurboMCS Controller (OS X): An application to interface with the EG&G Ortec TurboMCS (Multi-Channel Scaler) hardware via the serial port. Data can be viewed onscreen and saved in binary or text files. This type of hardware is used for fast timing measurements of pulsed count sources, mainly in LIDAR or other time-of-flight applications. The current OS X version software should be considered as beta software (seems to work fine but not tested extensively)
